Daja Bedanova

What has happened to her? I cant believe she's slipped this low. She cant even make it into qualifying for WTA tournaments anymore.

W/L for this year is 8/22

She'd better get her act together soon or she'll go the way of Muller

she decided to take German Nationality
thats what happens when one does that :help:

Daja has to regroup and start afresh again.
challengers would be a start.
making the journey back to the top is alot harder 2nd time around.

OMG, I can still remember the days when people used to count down the time before she inevitably reached the top 10
Wasn't she being coached by Melanie Molitor at one point? I heard Martina say so many positive things about her at the US Open a couple years back...I really thought she was one of the future contenders.

Five places below another player who once showed promise - Anna Kournikova.

Thats pretty snarky considering Anna has spent most of the year injured (I don't even like her, but hey lets be fair)

Daja just needs to forget 2003 completely. She has the game to be top 20 and mentally refreshed I believe she can get back there, maybe do a Rubin..it worked for her :)
