Sharapova Eatin’ Fresh
May 11th, 2007
Day-um! Little Masha’s looking a little more chunkachunk in the badunkadunk than training would indicate!
Maria Sharapova was caught unaware by a photographer recently while going on a Subway run, apparently “eatin’ fresh in the neighborhood.”
Seriously Maria, the Subway diet may have worked for Jared, but he started out at 425 pounds.
That’s all we’re saying.
When you couple this with yesterday’s cottage cheese photo, it makes you really wonder: Has she decided to pack it in (pun intended)? Is that $25 millie a year in endorsements good enough to live on for the rest of your life Anna, erm, Maria?
(Ouch! Quit hittin’ me!)
Jokes aside, Sharapova is currently on injury break with a bad shoulder. The former world number one announced earlier this week that she will be withdrawing from play in the Italian Open in Rome starting next week.
Sharapova has not played on the WTA Tour since losing to Serena Williams in the fourth round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami, and is skipping the Rome tournament to allow her shoulder more time to heal before competing at Roland Garros.
Sharapova also pulled out of Rome last year with a foot problem.
Or maybe she was just trying to stay off the pasta.
