Is going to be called the ITF Year 2001

The ITF Year 2001 focuses on ITF events, namely the Grand Slams, Davis and
Fed Cup, ITF men and women's circuit, juniors, wheelchair and vets. There is
coverage and results of all the main events in these categories for 2001,
and a summary of winners/runners up from the other WTA and ATP tour events.
There is an honours roll of all major events in the reference section, and
biographies of the greatest players and last year's ITF World Champions. The
book is in full colour and contains photographs.

Its going to be available on sale in February.

I don't see many differences only that John Barrett is no longer writing it.

They still will have alot of the usual stuff in it, plus its costs the same.

I guess it will be on sale through the ITF website.

How many pages in total? If the ITF covers well all ITF events, it should be a huge yearbook.

Any pics of the Women ITF Hochiminh City event :) ?

Do you mean the annual that used to be called 'World of Tennis'? That´s gonna really mess up my nice neat shelf with every edition from 1985 looking exactly the same. Oh well, that´ll teach me for being so anal...

I have every edition since 1990 so I know what you mean!!!

I am SO PLEASED they decided to do something. John Barrett is a genius, but it was the statistical sections and the biographies that I loved, and anyone who loves tennis could write those, so it certainly sounded a shame to not continue the series.

Hurrah!!!

I was thinking that my fave players best season would not go down in print in an ITF Yearbook - but now - phew!!! :)

I got alot of those books as well but I've misplaced my 1996 book and can't find it

Book will cost £10, not sure how much that will be in $

ITF's Joanne Sirman sent me the details, she's in Australia now as well for the AUS OPEN.

Vanity ..... glad you like the avatar :) so do I ;)

You can buy the ATP one from the ATP site
www.atptennis.com , there's a link on the mainpage.

WTA isn't available to the public just yet, possibly in around 2 weeks.
