I won't be able to be in here much tonight, but I'll get it going

#1 Doubles: GT vs. UCLA | 3-4
#2 Doubles: GT vs. UCLA | 3-4
#3 Doubles: GT vs. UCLA | 4-2

It looks like it'll be another tight one :)

Here is where you can follow scores: http://www.georgiadogs.com/fls/8800/ncaa_tennis_live/Scoreboard.html?DB_OEM_ID=8800

Unfortunately there is no video for tonight because it is being shown live on ESPNU, which I don't have. I think that video will resume tomorrow :bounce:

Megan can definitely play, but mentally it seems she has a lot of troubles. She was up 30-0, did three stupid mistakes, then saved the bp and managed to hold for 5-4. Long puts a lot of balls back in, annoyingly slices every backhand. Alexander is just pushing her serve in though.

Well this match turned into a classic!

5-4* Megan: Megan plays well (a great dtl backhand running passing shot), gets two mps. She misses an easy one on the first, long hits a forehand winner on the second. At deuce, Long hit what I thought was a double fault, Megan thought the same, didn't play it, and it ended up giving Ad for Long. Megan was pissed and missed the next point.

5-5. Megan was still pissed and almost tanked the game ;)

5-6*: Megan starts well. Gets a bp and misses an easy return. Long gets a mp, misses an easy approach. Megan ends up breaking by some solid ground play.

Tie break: FUNNY AS HELL. At 1-1, Megan hits an overhead in the fence. At 2-2, Long just tries hitting a high volley and doesn't touch the ball. She looked so confused. Megan ended up winning the next 3 points and the tb 7-3. The best player won. Megan needs a serve though.

Zemenova really choked the second. But managed to close it 6-1 7-6(4) after winning 6-1 5-2 and having mps.

What a weird game Yelsey has. She used a lot that two-handed slice. And weird technique on the forehand.

I'm quite impressed with Nelson right now. Seems like she hits without any effort. She changes the directiong really well.

Monika Dancevic, Georgia's #2, just won the second set against college #1 Audra Cohen of Miami. The score is now 0-6 6-4 Keep it up Monika!

BTW, Audra missed a REALLY easy forehand on set point

The top half of the draw is Soooooooooo much stronger than the bottom, with Cohen, uvarova, gloria, babos and moulton levy there.

Nelson pretty much has a pass into the finals. The only ones that might trouble her are zemenova, miller and nguyen, logar.
