What happened to her? She hasn't played in so long, that she must have retired. But why did she make no announcement? (or did I miss it?)

She was by far the most entertaining, stylish player on the circuit. COME BACK!

yeah, sk, you're not alone in missing this girl............. i tried asking different people (John Mac, Pam , Martina N.), but nobody gave me any definitive answer.

I hope she'd come back one day. If not, then I consider that even her retirement was "stylish" and playful, just like her presence on the court.

Still nothing official that she has retired.

But nothing new on her planned comeback which doesn't look likely

If she does play again it will be doubles only.

She was the one that brought joy and fun to the game of Tennis for me.

Could Natasha just be taking a break for a year like how Pat Rafter plans to?

that's what he hoped for.... but it's been 1 year and 3 months (if you consider her match at the Olympic Games where she played injured).

I have her last match on tape (Doubles match from Olympic) she seem to be OK at that time, even I still wonder how/why she could play in the Olympic last year, but not in any other tournys...

But as I wrote on the sanex board in June, I was sure she won't play any tournys this year, but I also still hope she'll be back. (I just wonder, how to come back, when you don't have any ranking?)

I just wanna see her play one more time and to see her say a proper good-bye to her fans.

Can you imagine if she were to play mixed doubles with Bahrami? An exhibition match between them and Navratilova & MacEnroe would be amazing...

I have a feeling that we still will see plenty of Natasha even if she retired. I think she has that passion for tennis and she'll play a lot exhibition matches (as sk said)

I really hope she hasn't retired. I heard that John W, from CNNSI said something of her return, but who knows with him...

I believe the last time she played was at the Olympics, losing to Salerni in the first round. It would be great to see her return, but she is no longer terribly young, and I wouldn't be suprised if she didn't return. Believe it or not, Natasha was the player that drew me to tennis at Wimbledon 1998. She seems really cool.

If you read her profile at the Sanexwta site, its quite funny! Come back Natasha!
