Not that Meghann isn't a fine player, but she's spent protracted periods at #11 Looking at Nadia Petrova's past 12 months, I'm not seeing Top Ten here.
Why?
Fully one third of her points come from ONE tournament.
Replace RG with her 18th best result, and she isn't even a top THIRTY player.
One thing in her favor. She's erratic. She had six results of more than 100 points, and six first round losses. In a young player, that means one day they can consistently achieve good results. But at 21, the time to establish consistency is NOW. In fact, it's a bit late.
