Majoli- will continue to improve as she has been since the US Open.<br />AO- 3rd rd<br />FO- 4th rd<br />W-2nd rd<br />US-4th rd

Year end ranking : 15-20

Talaja- will come back from the injuries that have plauged her this season.<br />AO- 2nd rd<br />FO- 3rd rd<br />W- 3rd rd<br />US- 2nd rd

Year end ranking : 40-45

Kostanic- will stage a comeback. She almost beat Nagyova last week, and in the tournament before that (Vienna after Wimbledon <img src="eek.gif" border="0"> ) she made it to the semis.<br />AO- 2nd rd<br />FO- 3rd rd<br />W- 2nd rd<br />US- 2nd rd

Year end ranking: 55-60

Palaversic- will continue to play on the challengers circut and might win a few matches at Tier I or II tournaments.

AO- 1rst rd (will have to qualify)<br />FO- 2nd rd<br />W- 1rst rd<br />US- 2nd rd

Year end ranking : 80-90

Lucic- she has been very unsuccessful; even in the recent challengers.

AO- 2nd rd qualigying<br />FO- 1rst rd<br />W- 3rd rd qualifying<br />US- 1rst rd

Year end ranking : 125-175

Upcoming players to look for in challengers: Marijana Kovacevic, Nadija Pavic, Matea Mezak

Ivanisevic- he should have a good year if his sholder doesn't force him to retire.

AO- 3rd rd<br />FO- 2nd rd<br />W- QF or better (whenever he makes it into the 2nd week of a tournament, he is very dangerous)<br />US- 4th rd

Year end ranking : 10-15

Ljubicic- will continue to rise in the rankings. He has recently beaten Kuerten, Agassi and Safin.

AO- 2nd rd<br />FO- QF (breakthrough)<br />W- 2nd rd<br />US- 3rd rd

Year end ranking : 25-30

Upcoming players to look for at challengers:<br />Ivo Karlovic, Mario Radic, Mario Ancic (could to the same thing Roddick did last year)

I think I disagree about the women. I think Iva Majoli will not break the top 20. I think she'll hover between 20-30. Hope I'm wrong with that though.<br />Talaja will tread water between 80-90 and will be joined in that area by Kostanic.<br />Palaversic will not stay in the top 100 if she breaks into it for a while.<br />As for Lucic well she's climbed to #191. She's still not in shape due to having limited training as a result of recurring little injuries. If she gets a good winter in then she'll go top 75 for sure but if she doesn't I see her struggling next season.

I hope Iva will be back in top 20, all she needs is to play more matches against top players.

It's hard to say what will be with Mirjana next season. She hasn't been in the good shape all 2001 season, but hope she will play better next year, i wish her all the best! <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

I think Iva will have a good year!

I think she needs to start gettin better wins i.e Top 20/10 players and winning tournies again Firt Tier 3's then mabye tier 2's.With some good granslam results and consistant results i'm sure she'll be Top 30!Top 20 i hope but it'll be tough for her!
