Hi everyone,
I just got in from the Open about an hour ago. It's been a dream of mine to go there for the longest time, and I finally got to go.
We got there a little late, but we stopped off at the practice courts. I looked through some bushes at a player, and I said, oh I don't know it's some skinny girl. Then I saw the serve and I realized it was Justine! She was practicing in like a very small bra/top so I didn't realize it was here. So, I was really excited because it was like my first 5 minutes there, and I already saw her so I called my mom on the phone and told her who I was watching, and I guess Justine heard me because she looked over! Haha. On the court with her was Scrichiphan, and a few minutes later Hewitt came out. So, after taking some pictures, I went into Ashe stadium and watched Lindsay's match. She is so awesome, and shit hits the ball so great, it was even more noticeable in person. So, after Lindsay's match I went back to the pratice courts and saw Conchita Martinez, and Ai Sugiyama. Ai was there for the longest time. So, then we went back and watched Agassi's match. Which I swear I am still in shock from because he is so incredible! I waited for him to come out of the player's exit, but I didn't have any luck. I waited for the longest time, and I was the first one there. While I was there, and watched some more people on the practice courts, Daniela Hantuchova, and Chanda Rubin were playing together. Ai was still there. Elena Dementieva. I took some pictures and went back to watch Roddick's match. After Roddick's match, I went back out and saw Blake practice, and I saw Kim all the way down at the end of the practice courts. I found away around the court to this little opening in the fench and I took some pictures. I was about 3 feet away from her and Justine! I called Kim over to sign my book, but she didn't hear me. So, then I walked around some more, and I saw Lisa Raymond. My friend Danielle insisted that it was Rennae Stubbs...and I was like no..it's Lisa Raymond, and she looked over at me! Whoops!! Haha. So then, and tennis player came out with his sons, and behind him this guy walked by in Adidas clothes. As soon as I saw him I knew who it was. It was Sergio Garcia! She had tennis rackets, so nobody knew who he was. He walked by this huge crowd and no one knew. I was like Sergio..and he just kind of looked, but kept walking.
So that was pretty funny. But, I took a lot of pictures, and I'll have to post some when I get them back. I just wanted to share my day with everyone. I thought it was really cool being so close to the players. I'm 17-it was my dream. So, I am really happy! But anways, that's it.
