Which SF match is the most exciting ?

Halep-Svito looks like much as a classic WTA battle that could turn into a real epic 3 setter while Williams-Strycova is most likely the one sided without suspense match under 1 hour.
Do you agree ?

Before the match? Probably Strycova because I expect Svitolina to win in 2 quick sets

Serena vs Strycova should be fun with lots of great shot making and death stares.

Svitolina vs Halep will be a boring slugfest, as their matches typically are.

disagree... Williams showed today that she needs to win points in 2 shots or less, if she has to hit 3 or more shots per point on a consistent basis, she's in deep trouble... and Strycova seems like she might be able to force her to do that. The match could be very interesting.

I'm hoping Bara can give Serena as hard a time as Vinci did at the same stage a few years ago. I think it could get difficult for Williams playing someone with such all court variety rather than a straightforward hitter she can go toe to toe with.

You were also expecting China to be celebrating tonight, so perhaps Halep can surprise you again?
At 41 with a point for 51 I thought there would be.But Zhang folded when Halep started playing better
Still a good major for Zhang and Qiang. But they have to be better finishers. On grass if you're up 41 you have to win the set

Serena has never lost a set to Strycova, it will be entirely serve dominated and about as enthralling as her matches with Goerges and CSN...:help:

Halep and Svitolina, two players on their worst surfaces, will either be over quickly or a drawn out choke-fest from both, which hasn't been exciting since the first time it happened between them. There is nothing exciting about predictable.

Therefore I voted neither. RG had a much more exciting and unpredictable lineup.

The most exciting part of this major was a Hercog round of 16.
Actually, Serena/Riske was good for most of set 3, and Pliskova's loss was close
Think about the big 3 yesterday. That was boring!

Barty is a mess on clay , Anisimova was lucky Halep forgot how to play tennis , Vondrousova is talented but is still super young and emotional , and Konta just sucks .

Just the usual shit on here, people bitter that we have 3 top 10 players (she might have been seed 11, but on Monday, when Wimbledon started Serena was ranked 10th) in the last 4. Tour sucks when there's just 1 out of 4 (like RG) and when we have 3 out of 4 it sucks for someone else, because you can never make everyone happy. Also we're talking about TF here, you know, where people root against top players only to turn around and complain that those same top players aren't consistent. Halep and Svitolina have both been staples of the top 10 for 3+ years (Simona 5 and a half) and Serena is well Serena, yet there's still some complaining because probably their favorite didn't make it this far so then the tour must suck, it couldn't possibly be that said favorite simply sucked here, right? Nope, the tour is bad, definitely!

You really expect me to believe for one moment that a SF lineup featuring 2 of the potential future stars of the tour isn't more exciting than one featuring 2 veterans nearing retirement? <img src="https://www.tennisforum.com/images/smilies/scared.gif" border="0" alt="" title="Scared" class="inlineimg" />

Such a difficult choice, 2 g̶r̶a̶s̶s̶ clay court players or the GOAT who can't move and is playing first strike tennis :
