lol, TeeRexx on form again.

She'd probably become Monica Sell-Seles, and people would forever assume she'd acquired a stammer from her marriage  . Whatever, it'd have to be better than ruining a beautiful, poetic name like Rossana De Los Rios by inserting 'Neffa' :fiery:

Analyzing the content of this thread for all the Monica fans who don't feel like rocking the boat when Rexx The Dog gets his little digs in.

And yes, a few Monica fans did come in here without noticing the undercurrent of the thread.

How come there always has to be at least one fool who insist on bringing his own baggage of negativity wherever he goes and tries to plant it in places where there is reletive harmony? :fiery:

Oh well, everyone is not happy with their own lives. :p

Sounds like self-analysis to me. This was a pretty harmonious board before December, 2001.

dh - Your actions in this thread reveal your sick so-called personality.
I really feel sorry for you, dude, because you are really quite pathetic.

Pathetic would be injecting yourself into a rankings thread to diss numbers. Would have preferred I posted different numbers there, more in tune with your reality, but not actually based on the WTA's ranking system?

Ring A Bell?

Here you have 2 posts of ranking intervals by yours truly. We also have 3 responses from a couple Williams fans who recognize the significance of the numbers and ponders their siginificance to their own favourites. Sandwiched in between we have a mindless invasion by a crap disturber who poses as a Williams fan.

Here are the points if you subtract everything through Roland Garros:

1. Lindsay Davenport 3350
2. Venus Williams 3160
3. Jennifer Capriati 2646
4. Kim Clijsters 2620
5. Monica Seles 2417
6. Martina Hingis 2160
7. Serena Williams 2016
8. Justine Henin 2011
9. Jelena Dokic 1991
10. Amelie Mauresmo 1189

Now we see a wide open field.

Wow, I see how much an injury at this time last year could affect the rankings this year. I mean, Monica will definitely do some damage on clay, and Lindsay missed the French and other clay tourneys last year so she doesn't have much to defend on the clay.

How about subtracting points through the US OPEN? Just kidding

Venus is still in good postition to rise and rise. Although I just want her to remain healthy and continue playing well in tourneys. Serena though is still my pick to really rise on up.

WOW, Venus would still be #3 after Wimbeldon? In my opinion if she plays some tourneys at the end of the season she will be in great shape. I really do think that the French Open is going to be the key for who will be in the top 5 at the end of the season.

The shiek also sent several of his very large close employees to Germany to look for a special person in his fiance's life for undisclosed reasons.

I honestly don't find the whole thread funny but then, maybe my sense of humour isn't very good.

But whether it's funny or not, including that line was totally uncalled for, I guess most Seles fans didn't notice it, but making fun of someone's personal tragedy is truly pathetic.

Joking about tragedy has provided some of the best, sharpest cutting-edge comedy of our times. The juxtaposition of laughter and tears is one of the most effective artistic devices around. It takes skill to mix the two without it descending into tastelessness and, imo, TeeRexx did that.

I don't want to get caught in the crossfire but, as a Monica Seles fan, I must say I'm very sensitive to Monica's stabbing and didn't find the humor in that particular remark. I wasn't sure where Tee was going but I chose to ignore the comment and gave him the benefit of the doubt assuming no malice was meant. Comedians sometimes offend trying to make people laugh and that remark may have been a bit over the edge.

In retrospect it would have been more sensitive if Tee had left it out and I can understand why some have taken offense. Perhaps Tee might edit his original post out of respect for Monica and those that find it offensive? :wavey:
