No she wont play next week, she will play in Scottsdale starting 25 February.

Kim will remain No.5 while Martina falls to No.4. Lindsay's gonna be No.3 again but her ranking will drop soon as she's not defending her points from Scottsdale, Indian Wells and Miami.

yeah, cos she was getting really burnt out.

But one reason why she pushed herself so hard, was to keep the #1 ranking, and now she doesn't need to. And she's realised that she plays better coming back from a break.

I cannot wait to see her back.

Martina plays Family Circle Cup every other year, so I don't think she'll play there this year, although I want her to play there as she has finalist points to defend and I think she has a nice chance to win it. I wouldn't mind seeing her play Hamburg, though. Martina-Venus final in a clay tournament would be interesting.

Anyone thinks she'll play more or less than the 19 ones listed above?

I thought that Martina was indeed scheduled to play Family Circle Cup and Eastbourne also. Don't know for sure if she would play Hamburg and Berlin too if she plays Family Circle though. I wish she would play Amelia Island since she lost early there last year and could easily pick up points. Eastbourne and Wimbledon represent ZERO POINTS TO DEFEND so she could really rack up points since at those two tourneys!!!
