Hingis has played this year so far (counting her Doha SF appereance this week) 6 tournaments and won 583 points in them. That's 97,17 points per tournament. In 17 tournamnets, which is the maximum that your ranking can be composed of, she would have 1651,83 points, which is more than the number #10 (Venus), with 1492; and less than the number #9 (Patty), with 1900. :wavey:

Except she has 3/4 of the GS and no YEC or super Tier 1 not in her ranking which means her total would probably be higher and worth enough to take her into Patty territory...

She still has to meet the people who would place her position in the top 10 - Nadia and Patty, Mary and Lindsay. So far she's had the bad luck to play the ones who are playing well when they are actually playing well.
