MONROE DISAPPOINTED BY SEXUAL ENCOUNTER WITH CRAWFORD

Film legend MARILYN MONROE went to bed with fellow actress JOAN CRAWFORD - but the lesbian sexual experience only reaffirmed her attraction to men.

Monroe left the WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? beauty gasping for more liaisons, much to the SOME LIKE IT HOT star's chagrin.

Monroe described the encounter herself in conversations taped by her psychiatrist DOCTOR RALPH GREENSON, recordings which were obtained by the Los Angeles Times newspaper from former prosecutor JOHN MINER, who helped investigate her death.

Monroe said, "We went to Joan's bedroom... Crawford had a gigantic orgasm and shrieked like a maniac.

"Next time I saw Crawford she wanted another round. I told her straight I didn't much enjoy doing it with a woman."

Hon, that story is older than the hills. Marilyn was nuts, I wouldn't place too much weight on what she told a shrink, she was probably stoned at the time. I have no doubt Crawford came onto her, and I do think Marilyn preferred the fairer sex, but I don't think it happened between them. Crawford could have been her mother, I think even dopey Marilyn drew the line at some things. I think it was Marilyn rejecting Crawford's advances that turned Crawford against her. My favorite part of Mommie Dearest, the book that is, true or not, is when leaden-hearted Tina discusses her mother's "lesbian proclivities" and writes about how Joan used to get roaring drunk and want to sleep in the maid's bed, with the maid. Many maids quit over this.

Joan had a love/hate relationship with Marilyn but she seemed much more concerned about her than say Bette Davis.

She always said catty things about Marilyn, but in the end it really saddened Joan that Marilyn died the way she did.

But like Helen said, this is major old news and nothing surprising.

Just reread this from you. So you think this encounter never actually happened?
