SINGLES FIRST ROUND
Carla Suarez Navarro def. Daniela Hantuchova
6-4 6-4
Suarez Navarro got off to a good start in both sets and never looked back. Hantuchova's gameplan has let many opponents get a lead on her and despite defeating current #3 Venus Williams recently, it hasn't been successful on many occasions (hint!!!)
Carla will face top seeded and ranked Maria Sharapova in the next round.
