Really good draw. I think it will be tough for Aggy to defend her title - she will probably do it but she will have to face some in-form players like Koryttseva, Goerges and Wozniacki to win I think.

Ok draw for Johanna... hopefully Julia is tired?

Very tough for Sandra :( Maybe Medina tired too?

Good Luck: Larsson, Roma, Wozniacki and Dushevina

I thought top-10 players weren't allowed to play Tier IV events. Or is Aga allowed seeing as she is the defending champion and this is the first title she won?

Because entry lists are done 6 weeks out from a tournament starting Aga wasn't top 10 at that time

She wasn't in the Top10 when the entry cut-off came out so she was able to play here. Plus its also a rule isnt it that players should endevour to defend their title - Aggy probably wants to as it must be a special place for her and that she isnt jet-setting to Canada before Beijing.
