SF: (SE)Lulu Sun def. Anastasia Kulikova 3-6, 7-6(4), 6-0
She couldn't convert a second serve to save her life in the first half of the match. When they started to click she ramped up a couple of gears and never looked back. First time I've seen Kulikova play.

Final against Ellen Perez - another lefty.

Not quite - live ranking shows 524, with a CHR of 484.

Ten breaks of serve in 20 games was NOT impressive, though! Once again Lulu tightened up when she was serving for the set and dropped her serve, but it was great to see her hustle Perez into more and more mistakes.

Still waiting for the Lausanne draw to come out to see if she has a qualifying wild card.

Google Translate actually does a very good job with that.

The young Swiss hopeful Lulu Sun (WTA 737) won her 4th ITF title at a hard court tournament worth $ 25,000 in Lisbon. The 20-year-old from Geneva prevailed 6: 4, 6: 4 against Ellen Perez (AUS / WTA 235) in the final. The left-hander, the daughter of a Croatian and a Chinese woman, who was born in New Zealand, has improved by around 200 positions in the world rankings.

I'm guessing they may have copied that straight from the Wikipedia page which I loaded for her yesterday. :D

Fingers crossed that she can beat Parks, who is ranked lower than both the Australians she beat in Lisbon.

First round doubles match is against Mariya Kostyuk and 16 year old Japanese player Rinon Okuwaki, who is playing her first senior doubles event. That's today, around 2 pm local time.

This match against Parks is totally nuts. First game lasts 12 minutes before Lulu holds after eight deuces, saving 8 break points. 7th game is even longer, with 9 deuces, and she saves three more BPs but needs 7 game points to get through. Parks takes the first set 6-4 (two breaks to one) after an hour and ten minutes. And, two courts over, Bolton has already won her singles match which started at the same time!
