Apparently it's rather more serious than first thought, and may require (or may already have had) surgery. She could be out for several more months, although I hope not.
New Zealand is reintroducing ITF 15K tournaments this summer, and the first of those is a men's event in Te Anau, the town at the entrance to Fiordland in the south-west corner of the South Island where Lulu was born. It will start just before New Year, and there will be a women's event in February, but the venue for that hasn't yet been announced.
Rushiti is the seed amongst them.
This round robin works as a kind of qualification for the proper round robin with the top 8 seeds.
Rushiti sometimes represents Kosovo internationally but on ITF she is Swiss. Superb power player.

Road to the title:
R1: Susan Bandecchi def. Kim Fontana 6-3, 6-2
R2: Susan Bandecchi def. Varvara Gracheva 6-4, 6-2
QF: Susan Bandecchi...

Grade A Osaka U18
R1: Valentina Ryser def. [wc]Shiho Tsukuda 6-2, 6-3
R2: Valentina Ryser def. Hong Yi Cody Wong 0-6, 6-4, 7-5
R3: Valentina Ryser def...
