**We will be making the matches best of 5 sets, for Singles and Doubles if you are competing in the Season End Championships. This means, that we require NEW points from you, with 5 SETS, not 3.**

:) All players participating in LTTS3: SEC, will have to send NEW POINTS.
:) All players have to send best of 5 SETS, for Singles and Doubles.
:) We recommend that you send different points for all 3 matches in the Round Robin.
:) If you reach FINAL - You can change points!

(If you are plaing Doubles in the Season End Championships, and NOT singles, that will make you UNAVALIABLE to play singles in Dubai)

Good luck everyone!! :hearts: :wavey:

Welcome to Madrid !

Now is THE time. The last event of the season. TEH tour championships. And Katarina Srebotnik likes this event like no other. "There's nothing I like more than play gainst top players , because that's when I can play my best tennis ."

Finalist and quarter-finalist in teh first two editions, Sonya Jeyaseelan now gives her spot to Srebotnik, Jool's new pupil during season 3 . Srebotnik throughout the season , followed Jeyaseelan's steps, with the same kind of results and rankings.

The road to the championships' win will be tough , but Srebotnik avoided in her group all of her nemesises. She'll play against Belgian Kim Clijsters(n 1), Swiss Patty Schnyder (n 10) and US Venus Williams (n 14). (see HTH )

In doubles, despite Mauresmo's withdrawal from singles that benefits to AL Groenefeld, Srebotnik will team up with the Frenchwoman for a last shot at a title with her soon-to-be-definitely-retired best friend. The French Open winners have struggled to regain form after the clay season , barely winning on ematch in any given tournament. The perspective to play the best players in teh world might help them to bring their best game on tour, given it will be their last tournament together- their goals are as much having fun and enjoy playing together - as winning matches and why not the title...

Doubles Golden Group:

(1)K.Clijsters/K.Flipkens
(4)E.Dementieva/L.Krasnoroutskaya
(5)A.Mauresmo/K.Srebotnik
(7)E.Bovina/A.Myskina

Edina Gallovits already arrived in Madrid

Edina Gallovits, last year's Dubai Tier I - winner, arrived to her first YEC ever. After a bad start in this season and not consistant results the whole season, the US Open - finalist , arrived as Race-15.

"I definatley very happy for being here, it was the aim for my season and I did it. I'm in top-15 and that's a great feeling. After my bad start in this season I never thought I could come to Madrid. The Final of US Open was definatley the highlight of my season and my carrer"

But Edina's group is hard, she has to play US Open - winner Tatiana Golovin, 0-2 in H2H Silvia Farina-Elia and Kirsten Flipkens.

"My group is not easy, I know them all very good and I played them all somewhere before. I'm 1-2 to Tatiana and 0-2 to Silvia, they both have not a game-plan I I like. Silvia runs and runs. I never played Kirsten in singles, but in mixed, despite I won it was very tough to play her. It is her last event in singles, so she is probably very motivated and gives everything"

After US Open, Edina lost all the time rather early, how does Edina see her chances?

"Yeah, I did. I played not that concentrated anymore after US Open, because I was sure I'm in YEC, I worked a bit in my game. But last week against Vera Zvonareva I definatley very bad and I was not content about my game. But I arrived directly to Madrid for improving my game, I feel me well now and I'm sure I can come into next round.

Enjoys Edina her time in Madrid?

"Definatley. It is a great city and a nice feeling. It's being here. The people are nice, the ambience is good and I love the shopping-miles. It's great all stars are here, compared to Althea Gibson , Tatiana Golovin , Amelie Mauresmo , Katarina Srebotnik or all the other stars, Edina seems very unknown ;) Maybe my advantage here. Talk to you soon "
