Yeah, I found that interesting too.

You can definitely see the influence on the forehand, the way she sets up the face of the racquet to hit the ball.

But, with all due respect to Mary, Mary's dad patterned this part of Mary's game after Chris Evert's. On the forehand, Chris had this rather formal way of setting up the face of the racquet prior to contact.
