It's been 84 years... Finally, she did IT!!

 

I feel like Semenistaja has been agonizingly close to top 100 for about a year and a half now - if someone surpasses her next week (and it wouldn't be farfetched) then she will have to keep on waiting. I'm always surprised to see her FH technique holding up well in this near-Tour level (she seldom plays above the 125K level...) schedule of hers - it's such a stiff stroke.

Waltert used to be super close, then dropped down to outside top 150 and now is almost safely there. Unlike Semenistaja's case, I trust her game a whole lot more.

 

Finally an exciting German prospect to follow in the great tradition of Graf and Kerber. She´s such a talent even our neighbours from Switzerland have flooded this thread to show their support.
