Thats just perfect. That also means, this Swiss girl cant definitely go before Petra in race, since those 3483 points (should she win tomorrow) are her maximum. Perfect. Hopefully, Timea will be missed in YEC. Vulturing Linz was refused by the organizers, perfect. She tried to be a Mega Vulture, but she failed. Even more perfect.

Just imagine. Timea (trying to vulture here as much as she can) wins tomorrows final and gets to 3483 points in race. Petra did 10 points in Beijing so she is 8 points ahead. If Timea ended the 8th before Flavia, I would already think, the WTA is going to apply that special rule. Since you know, Timea in YEC...

A very valuable opinion as always. Timeas plan to become a WTA mega vulture badly failed. Its just an AU tournament, so an Austrian should be there understandably instead.

I guess there could be a complaint lodged about the WTA seeming to change the rules on Luxembourg counting for YEC. I'm not a particular fan of Timea, but that situation is crazy.

If she is allowed to do so. That would be even a much worse vulturing after being refused in main draw as a WC. Qualies in Linz cant be used, they already started and Timea can only play since Monday, which is too late.

Thats not much comfortable, you are right. But Timea had to register for Moscow, just like all Czech girls do every year (tough they never come). In Moscow, there are more points available. Why did Timea decide to play Luxembourg instead? Yes, we know, MMs are just perfect for her...
