guichard, can you remind us what a Jr. Slam gets with a Title. Is it 2 WC at WTA tournaments?Congrats Leylah![]()
Nothing unfortunately but last year winner had a QWC to the French Openguichard, can you remind us what a Jr. Slam gets with a Title. Is it 2 WC at WTA tournaments?
She confirmed it, she will not play Wimbledon.Front Page on the Junior ITF site

This might be her last Junior tournament she says. No Wimbledon for sure.
Yeah, no need to win 2 once you won a Slam. Earlier she said she might play the Jr USO because it's closer to Florida, but I wouldn't recommend it. One should retire from Juniors on a high. She confirmed it, she will not play Wimbledon.
Yes but only if the experienced coach has complete control. You do not want a Wozniacki's situation .Nice article about Leylah and Tennis Canada's plans to get her to the next level. Having a full time coach other than her father will be a must. He has done a great job so far but I guess an experienced coach is needed as soon as possible. He can go on taking care of Bianca Jolie, his youngest daughter of 15. He can't coach both any ways.
Leylah says in the article that Justine Henin is one of her idols and that a coach told her in Paris that her style is pretty similar to Henin's.
