Leylah is into the Semis at G1 AGL Loy Yang Traralgon Junior International
She is the 4th seed
She will face today (6pm e.t. CDN) in SF Yasmine MANSOURI of France, not seeded.
In the other SF it will be 9th seed E.Raducanu of GBR vs. the 1st seed C.Tauson of Denmark

Nice win in R2 vs. Uchijima M. (Jpn)
6-4 7-6(5)
Was behind 2-4 in the 1st set but won 4 games in a row with some brilliant winners CC and DTL
Her opponent was pretty good, hitting very hard, but making a bit more errors than Leylah.
The Canadian in the 2nd set was again behind 3-4, then 5-6 but found a way to prevail again with some very good defense.
The #2 seed Qinwen Zheng in Leylah's half has lost. Perhaps that will help when QF comes

Another win in R3 for Leylah

Started down 0-3, then won 8 games in a row and the set. Her opponent then raised her level, winning 3 games in a row to lead 3-2 in the second set. Leylah struggled a bit to keep the ball in play at times but she corrected than in the end, broke the Italian at a crucial time at 5-5, then served for the match like a Champ.
QF will be vs Leonard M. (Fra)
This is her coach. Not someone from Tennis Canada. She had a talk with him at least 4 times and every time she won the following games. Someone from her familly perhaps?

That's her father I believe coaching her there.
Should be another Tauson/Fernandez finals, hopefully Fernandez wins this time around.
