LUXEMBOURG (TICKER) -- Anna Kournikova of Russia won again on Thursday to set up a quarterfinal meeting with Kim Clijsters of Belgium at the $170,000 Seat Open.

Kournikova, seeded fifth, was a 6-1, 7-6 (7-4) winner over Slovakian qualifier Daniela Hantuchova in a second-round match.

After losing five straight matches in her return from a stress fracture inher left foot, Kournikova has put together two straight-sets wins in a row. On Tuesday, she posted a 6-4, 7-5 win over Jana Kandaar of Germany.

Clijsters, who received a first-round bye, rolled past Italy's Rita Grande, 6-3, 6-2 on Thursday. Clijsters captured this tournament in 1999.

No. 4 seed and 1996 champion Anke Huber of Germany, who announced she will retire after the Australian Open in January, crushed Cara Black of Zimbabwe, 6-1, 6-1. Huber meets American Lisa Raymond in the quarterfinals.

In a second-round matchup of unseeded Americans, Meilen Tu outlasted Jennifer Hopkins, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3. Tu will face Tina Pisnik in the final eight after the qualifier from Slovenia upset No. 2 Silvia Farina Elia of Italy, 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (7-0).
