Kim is considering to stop playing doubles at all.

Her shoulder played up once and a while over the last 2 years and surgery will not help, the only thinks she can do is take periods of rest throughout the year.

That's also way she will probably not play in Antwerp :(

How sad

But hey, it's good that she wil focus on singles. Doubles aren't that important when you're a top-5 singles player...
I hope the arm will be better soon!!

She'd better not play doubles than :(

She's way too young to have this kind of injury!!!:(

if it isn`t good for her then she should quit it, and only concentrate on singles and take rest when she needs it.<P>I hope her arm recovers soon!

A wise decision by Kim; after all, she can always change her mind in future if her shoulder improves.

I also feel relieved for Ai, who is now free to find a different partner! Two Slams in a row being left in the lurch, that has been quite a blow for this former #1 doubles player.

Best of luck to both Kim and Ai! :) :)

and it's 100% sure she will not play doubles again this year!

I wonder who will be Ai's new partner.
