hope u are all enjoying the clay. just watching the white socks go reddy/orange is enough to keep me entertained.

Anyway, got an interview with Kaia up this week.

It's at the usual place is anyone fancies a read. If not, then you've probably been to the blog before and vowed never to return lol.

Personally, don't think she is top 10 material...more like top 15...maybe

She is gonna regularly beat middle-range players withough achieving much more probably...what u think? any potential there?

I love Kaia, she's realyl great, but I also doubt she can be a top 10 player... Top 15 looks like a more achievable goal.. but then again, I hope i'm wrong

From all accounts Kanepi's seems a nice girl. I admit I am not a big fan of her style of tennis but that is not relevant here. She clearly has talent. Is top 10 a realistic goal for Kanepi? Of course it is. Fact: she is currently ranked 19. Fact: she could be a lot fitter. Conclusion: If Kanepi can get to 19 in the world without being nearly as fit as she is capable of imagine how far she could go when she is seriously fit.

There are no guarentee's in this game but top 10 is definately a realistic goal and it would be strange if a player who was ranked 19 wasn't aiming to get to the top 10. One of the great rules of tennis is if you don't keep trying to improve you end up going backwards.
