Look at her results this year. This is what makes her the #3 in the world right now, she went to Semi Final or better in every tournaments she played except Nasdaq, which is not too shabby either, where she lost to Rubin in the Quarters.

Her lost this year has been to Kim, Venus, Chanda, Elena D. and Serena.

This is a WOW Results.. go Justine

Yea, 13 tournaments and Semis or better 12/13 and finals record of 6-1, one major, 3 tier I's and 2 Tier II's. With these numbers, Justine is playing like the #1 in 2003;)
True, if Justine were to have a better showing at the Open, it's a done deal. If only Kim could win that one...

They way Justine´s playing, can´t see that( Kim winning the Open) happening. Juju´s serve has become such a weapon, even bigger than Kim´s!! that it will take a Williams to beat her.

Justine hasn't had to do much this hard court season, though. Her only big win this summer was against Kim, and [Kim] was visibly worn out at that point (even Justine said that). I will be more impressed if Justine can win the U.S. Open.

She has added a lot of mph to her serve, but in most of the matches of her I have seen, she only gets 50% of her 1st serves in. Players need to attack her 2nd serve more.

Yeah, Justine hasn't done much this hardcourt season, she just won every match she played...

If you ever watch her matches, justine takes a lot of risk on her serves, that is why her percentage is low, but people couldn't attack her 2nd serve because it is equally good aswell.

If the us open final comes down to Justine and Kim, my heart will cheer for kim but my head definitely says justine.

However there are six matches to get to the final and nothing is guaranteed for anyone. Justine has been taken out by the fourth round in all her open appearances.

come on people, we both know that Justine and even Arantxa are not clay-courters, it's true they prefer clay but they can definately play on every surface

Exactly, everybody is looking at what the 'big 3' will do against each other, but what about chances of upsets before getting to the latter stages.

Much as you'd like to think Justine should now start beating Lindsay consistently, I wouldn't be too confident about that match up.

Capriati, Mauresmo and Rubin surely must be capable of a few upsets if all would turn up healthy.
