Pretty impressive resume already.

I just realized that I haven't seen any of Justine's matches, nor kim's, nor Amelie's and a few others that escape me right now. Guess that's how it is when it's espn in the states. My faves are the Williamses and Seles (sometimes Martina and so-so Jennifer), but I would have liked to see how the competition is doing. Anyway, Justine's in the quarters so they will have to show her matches now.

just a small side note, Justine is starting to serve over 50%, if that continues improving, if I was another player I would be really worried.

If Justine managed to get to the Wimbledon final (on grass) and take Venus to 3 sets serving like crap, imagine what she could do if she served just normal

Great win Justine....but isn't it always like that, the matches before Justine has to play Kim?

At RG Justine was considered the favourite cause she seemed a lot more impressive in her previous matches...and then she lost.

Last encounter was the same. Again everyone saw Justine as the favourite because she was playing so well and Kim wasn't....and Kim won again.

Janie, it is nice to see you so happy! That is until Juju has to play crusher Kim! I'm sure Justine could sense that Elena was nervous and intimidated. Looking into Elena's eyes, is like looking into the eyes of a kitten. She has no killer instinct. Looking into Kim's eyes, is like looking into the eyes of a tigress! She has a killer instinct. And she has started to dominate Justine. It should be a very interesting match. But I look for Kim to be too strong for Justine. Sorry Janie!

As always your cat analogies are interesting! Kim does have a good record over Justine with Juju's only wins over Kim coming on grass. However, tennis is hard to predict and any player can win on any given day. When you think about last year, who could have predicted that Justine and Kim would make the finals of grand slams? Or that Jennifer would win two grand slams in a row and dominate Martina Hingis, whom she had not beaten in years? Every match is a new opportunity to win and as long as Justine looks @ it that way she has a chance.

Naturally, I am aware that Kim is favored to beat Justine as she did just a week or two ago.

But I am happy that Justine is here, in the 2nd week of the tournament, after already sending two potentially tough opponents (the 2 Russians) to the Zoo!
