WHY has NOONE labeled this semifinal of Jennifer vs Justine an ERRORFEST??

Hmmm.... I watched the match and certainly did not get that impression either, but the stats on the US Open site show 112 unforced errors committed. 69 by Justine and 43 by Jennifer.

If this had been Serena/Venus or Serena/Jennifer, this would have been hyped to the max.

Can ANYONE please tell me... just WHY is that!

In some matches this is so. When someone hits a pat-a-cake volley into the net, this is clearly an unforced error. But a lot of the errors in the Justine-Jennifer match were "forced", in that they were caused by the high standard, pace or positioning of the opponent's shot.

I saw a lot of that sort of shot get put down as UEs on the scoreboard.

So the UE count in this match is unfairly high.
