many junior players playing this week on the tour

Diane Parry is in QF at Osaka(GA) for her last year in junior and an all french tournament is taking place in Honfleur (G5)

I was checking the draw and saw that Laia Petretic (2004) will face Sarah Iliev (2006) in SF there, they faced last week at Les Ponts de Ce (G5) Finale
Laia Petretic won 6-4 6-2

I was wondering why such a talented player as Petretic stick to play those low level tournaments, she should be aiming G1 or better tournaments.
Many girls in Osaka are born the same year as her. Why not giving herself more trust, belief?

we have very good girls in 2001,2002 and 2003 but what about 2004?Hopefully the fit will take care of Petretic cause I think she has BIG potential.

for the first time we have 2 french players playing the Year end Championships, this competition takes place in Chengdu (CHN)

Diane Parry who won Osaka (GA) last week and reached world n°1 ranking will start tomorrow along with Elsa Jacquemot. Her aim is to finish the year at the top spot. She'll need to win this.

She will play Hurricane Tyra Black(USA) to start with. Elsa will play Daria Snigur (UKR), the Wimbledon Champion, big challenge.:)

Allez les filles!

Diane will face Kawaguchi next, the japanese lost vs Zheng in 2 sets 2-6 4-6
Elsa will face Bartone who beat Selekhmeteva today

Both won today:yeah::yeah:

Diane def Kawagushi 6-2 6-1 and takes the lead of this group cause Zheng lost to Tyra Black 2 and 2

Still one match to win to reach SF as n°1

Elsa did so great vs Bartone today, she won 6-1 6-4:D

will face selekhmeteva who is already out with 2 losses but don't count on her to give her the win. Elsa will have to go and grab the win and qualify by her own.

Allez!

Some news of others french players playing this week in Neuquen (ARG) which is a Grade 2 on clay

Giulia Morlet, Annaelle Leclerc and Océane Babel all in QF:yeah:

very happy to see Océane Babel(born in 2004) playing some good level tournament, trying to improve more:)
