Buenas, se que hay varios de vosotros que seguis con atencion el circuito challenger y a los juniors, hay alquien que prometa? Apostais por alguien para el top100? Por ejemplo tengo que admitir que no habia creido del todo que Arantxa Parra fuese a lograrlo tan pronto, pero tengo que reconocer que anabel tenia razon. Alguien mas ha descubierto algun otro talento?

Pues no me llameis iluso porque tenga una ilusión, pero yo espero q Martita Fraga llegue alli, le cueste lo q le cueste

Y si la MaJo Sánchez Alayeto no dejase el tenis tendría una buena oportunidad esperemos q su gemelilla MaPi no se corte y ahora se lance

De juniors. Siempre ha habido generaciones.

Estan Fraga y Alayeto. Fraga se ha quedado bastante estancada, a ver si el año q viene cuando pase a los 25K mejora. Alayeto por desgracia...

Adriana Gonzalez y Eva Fernandez. Mi querida adri lo está haciendo muy bien, y spiceboy la vio jugar y dice que tiene potencial. Eva pues weno, como ultimamente se está dejando caer por Nigeria...

Nuria, Carola y Katia. Entre las tres tienen características a la vez similares y a la vez contrapuestas. Nuria es bastante pegadora pero tiene un carácter bastante jodidillo. Carola es más talentosa y trankila, pero corre muy bien y le pega cuando le tiene que pegar. Katia juega a lo Schnyder, y suple la potencia con inteligencia. Creo que las tres podrían ser buenas, aunque yo no se pq, siempre he apostado más por Carola.

Luego siempre están las que no hacen ruido pero que están ahi escondidillas, y ese ha sido el caso de Arancha Parra. Otras posibles sorpresillas, y mis apuestas de cara al futuro son Laura Pous, Mati Muñoz, Pilar Escandell y Nuria Roig entre otras. Nuria Roig es una pegaostias nata, solo tiene que adquirir bastante más experiencia y mejorar la cabecilla.

It's quite interesting to see the Spanish juniors and their decisions in progression, because it seems they tend to play far less of the junior events than many other girls, so often times it is hard to guage where they are against the other junior girls who may be ranked high on the ITF rankings. Even Arantxa and Conchita were not prominent junior players as they were above their level

It seems a lot of them play the Spanish 10k events through the year, and have played them with a fair amount of success (Gonzalez Penas, Waernes, Maria Jose Sanchez Alayeto, Marta Fraga), but I think that it will be hard to know how far they go until they are able to the experience of playing against players at a higher level, but certainly if they are able to win even a 10k, then there is decent hope because you have to start out somewhere and the confidence of winning pro titles can mean a lot more than winning more insignificant junior titles.

Hopefully we will see plenty more young Spanish girls moving up and ready to fill in the gap in Spanish tennis when the veterans Martinez, Ruano Pascual, Serna, Gala, Cris, etc. decide to move on

Yo aparte de Parra, apuesto por Adriana,Astrid y Rizhik, aunque alguna no sea tan joven creo que tienen posibilidades de entrar en el Top 100

También creo que Pous puede ser un caso similar al de Parra dentro de dos temporadas

Yo creo que Carla se meterá en el Top 100 en un par de años, Nuria y Estrella con trabajo también podrían alcanzarlo. Luego Maite y Yera pintan bien, creo que las dos podrían llegar y también Sandra Soler.
Irene, Mati y Silvia Soler podrían ser las "tapadas" que al final acaban llegando
