Oh boy, she loses the first set 6-4. Hope this isn't jinxed.

Zheng playing very well, Konta looks a bit tight and even frantically gesturing to her team a couple of times.

Broken again at the start of the second :( 0-1

Having difficulty breaking down Zheng's defence, lengthy rallies and she's hitting few winners.

Breaks back straight away.

2-1, 3 break points to Jo but gives them all away. Easy volley at the net missed again. This is nothing like top 20 form. Jo needs to show some of the fight we saw last Autumn.

Rubbing her right gluteus maximus on the way back from the net. It is a big muscle with lots of blood flow so if it is only a slight strain it should heal fairly quickly & not affect Wimbledon.

Zheng breaks back, 4-3 Konta but back on serve.

Another slightly shaky and unassured game from Jo, poor shot selection at times. How much it's the injury and how much nerves is hard to tell. Very few winners.

Wow, wonder point at 40-40 gives Zheng advantage and wins to make it 5-5.

Konta has had the medics out twice and is clearly unhappy out there, if she somehow manages to get through this I can't see her lasting much longer this week.

Now she's limping...

To give Jo some credit - even with the injury at 5-6 she has fought really hard to try and get to a tie break. Hasn't thrown in the towel but the first set and a half could have been a lot different.

Jo's forehand has disintegrated since the Aussie Open. After breaking in the 1st game she is now 5-4 down to Doi. So many forehand errors that she has taken all the pace off the f/hamd groundstrokes to try & keep it in play a bit more often. Now the pressure of having no forehand is bringing errors on the normally solid backhand

Improvement to take the tie break 7-3 but Jo is causing her own problems.

Well to continue the theme, Jo's forehand is so Flakey Cadburys have offered to sponsor Jo by usng her to advertise their 'Crumbliest Flakiest Chocolate taste like chocolate never tasted before...'

Jo blows a ton of break points to go 5-6 down, she isn't playing badly by any means but that was an anti-climax. Hopefully she holds here, Tsurenko is playing well.

She not only won that tricky first set but has upped her game in the second (and Tsurenko has imploded) to go 5-0 up.

Jo serving for the 1st set at 5-2 & experienced the obligatory loss of serve to go 5-3. But 0-40 at 5-4 is too much to get back and another break of serve makes it 5-5. Get that sports psychologist on the phone please.
