I seems that Johanna Konta is injured as she did retire from her match in Bayamon against Madison keys when she was losing 75 in the first set. She then withdrew from Toronto as she is not seen on the main draw. Now i see she has also withdrawn from Phoenix $75,000 event from the qualifying.

No idea....perhaps she was worried she might get her ranking high enough for aussie open qualies if she kept playing and winning and was scared that she might actually come and play in australia LOL

Weird that she's never gotten any wildcards for either British or Aussie events. It's like she is stuck in limbo.

We all know she is practically a Brit, and won't commit to Oz, but the Brits aren't even giving her wildcards to their events. She's had to get a top 300 ranking all on her own, and mostly by playing tough US challengers.

So If she gets in top 100 and like in a few years or something (if she does) she will miss every Aussie open?

A hunch - by training in the US and living there, she'll eventuallybe after US citizenship? Explains why she's not being offered any w/c by Aussies or the Brits.
