yes, the only blemish in Justine's finals record is that Rosemalen one before Wimbledon where she was leading Clijsters (and should have won that) if it weren't that freak accident:( other than that, Justine is definitely the most improved player of 2003 and her results SPEAK for themselves;)

the most impressive stuff is her 3-setters record this year :

13 wins 1 loss

her only loss came against dementieva when she lost 7-5 in the third, after having match point!!!

btw, serena is 6-2, kim 8-4, davenport 8-5 and venus 4-4

keep going justine!!

There are Serena Williams fans, and then there are Venus Williams fans. They shouldn't all be lumped together.

I like the looks of my favs h2h w/justine. 7-1(seven in a row) including a thumping this year down under.

Those are impressive stats, I can say that as a WS fan and I'm OK.....WOW.....ya'll had me thinking I was going to have a stroke or something :)

I always feel like I have to put up a disclaimer about the hand incident.....but I still like Justine and even this new little 'tude she has about herself, if thats what it takes for her , then so be it!!

Venus is 6-3 in 2003(with one injury retirement) vs. the current top ten. I don't know her record against players that were top ten at the time of the match. When she is healthy she hasn't lost to any other top player besides Serena.
