Jennifer Capriati may be among the group that's brought added power to the women's game, but that hasn't stopped the new world No. 1 from trying to improve her game.
The Australian and French Open champion is learning the finer points of kickboxing -- to help with her fitness, that is, not to use on opponents.
Capriati has been working with Chantal Menard, a world kick-boxing champion from Italy, since late last year. She said she had learned some moves and jokingly added it may have contributed to a minor hip injury.
``Maybe I'm using my legs too much, and that's why my hip's that way. But, yes, I definitely think I'm getting better.''
