Gambale, from what I've heard, is a total wall, she just gets everything back. She won a clay court challenger prior to RG, so it's not that bad of a loss.
Jamea lost in the semifinals at Surbriton to Laura Granville, 6-4, 7-5, but then played two qualifying matches at Birmingham today, beating Jane O'Donohue 6-4, 6-1 and Aiko Nakamura, 6-4, 6-0, and qualifying for the main draw, go Jamea!!!
Jamea did a great job today winning her 1st round main draw match against Kristina Brandi, 3-6, 7-5, 6-0!!! Jamea plays Kirilenko in the next round, go Jamea!!!
Today Jamea lost to Laura Granville 7-6(5), 6-4. But Jamea had a great tournament in Birmingham and her match against Laura was closer than the last match that they had. Hopefully Jamea can keep up her awesome play from this week in the weeks to come, especially Wimbledon!!!
