Just saw the match on TV - not a great match at all.
Benesova was ok, although the forehand was very shaky especially at the start and she gave me a rather unconcentrated impression towards the end of the second set - things just went too easy perhaps.
What can I say about Vento - her movement was plain horrible - and Benesova didn't even make her run that often. And how can one win matches if one squanders points basically already made at a rate of 100%? These missed volleys, smashes, etc. can happen to anyone, but if you miss them all? - and she had at least 6 of those. Really felt pity towards the end - rarely happened to me while watching a tennis match. Some flashes of talent (on the bh) still though.
She seems in some sort of free fall at the moment - hope she can turn it around, or at least play some good matches, otherwise this will really start to feel like a career continued for too long.
