I really can't believe it, but Iva seems very optimistic again. In an interview with a croatian daily newspaper she said she's feeling great again and hopes and plans on leaving a mark on tennis again (still). It's not a quote, and I said it a bit aquard (I'm quite tipsy, so you'll forgive me :p), but it's the gist of it, and I think it's great. She said the Fedcup helped her a lot, since the atmosphere is fenomenal and all the girls are getting along perfectly. That's very encouraging, especially since she was placed as third behind Karolina and Silvija, so I thought it would put her into even bigger deppresion. She also said she's over the mental problems, and is hoping physical ones won't stop her from another comeback.

That's really nice news to hear!!! I hope Iva will actually play in one of these Cali tournis she is entered into. She could have done well at BOTW, but oh well..... I hope she shows up at Stanford or somewhere in Cali, it would only help her, win or lose. Just play IVA!!!!! If she is healthy again, she needs to go for it and see what she can do!

This is great to hear after the talk of retirement.
