I'm sure she probably doesn't care at the moment anyway because she's more concerned about her injury than the Championships, right?

OMG! I hope she will, but I think so. It would be really strange if a player who reached (at least) 2 GS finals wouldn't be there!

That´s too much a gap for a player like Sugiyama to close.

How quick things can turn ... 3 months ago this thread was started by "simplify" thinking that Ai was Venus threat for the YEC ... and look where she is now. 3 months after, Ai is still more than 500 points behind Venus (and Venus didn't even play) ...
