Ah, that picture was taken after Verkerk lost the final match in the first round of the Davis Cup to give Switzerland the 3-2 victory.

It was the greatest match win for my boy Michel Kratochvil, by far. It was after Verkerk had won his first title on the carpets in Milan.

Sluiter was doing what the crowd couldn't -- comfort their guy after a crushing defeat (and I do mean crushing -- 1-6, 7-6, 7-6, 6-1).

Well the commentators always go on about Raemon and Martin's "friendship". Like they went on holidays together and Raemon was sending martin messages on his phone during his RG run.....

So yeah....I can see where the rumours come from.
