Ok so Kristina is off for holidays now, happy she enjoys well deserved rest and good days spent outside of tennis

the fact is with her bad showing at Wimbledon she lost very precious points to Singapore top8.
She dropped to 9 in the actual RACE, all her direct rivals did gain many points and Kiki got distanced.

The year is FAR to be over but what do you think?will she make it at the end of this year?

What results must she get to stay in this RACE and be part of this top8?

the wta live ranking RACE now is :

Wozniacki is playing this week at Bastad tournament, if she wins it she can get to 3496 pts and get to 6 in the ranking.

you can see it she's playing EVERY WEEK before the Us Open, well that's a choice, her choice but she has to keep in mind that what matters the most is to go deep in the biggest tournaments and even perhaps win one of them

the most important is of course the Us Open, she lost early last year (R64) to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova. No way she loses early again cause she would jeopardize even more her chances to belong to the top8.

you can see all the best players except a few (wozniacki, radwanska, cibulkova) are focusing to the biggest tournaments. I really hope Kristina to focus mostly on doing good in those tournaments cause these will be crucial at the end of the year ranking.

I do think she can play GREAT on hard courts as she did on clay, she must BELIEVE in herself to PEAK hopefully at the US Open. Not before but during this slam.

Allez Kiki!:bounce:
