I read Marco-Alize is not a fair manager, don't know if it's true but I really love this game so I would like to manage it :bounce:

is it possible? I'm really fair and I will put a lot of work into the game :yeah:

can you say your opinion about me as a manager? :D

I don't mind, but people don't really care if it's fair I guess. They had a chance to change it in a poll and only a few voted for a change. I also have to say that Marco cheats only sometimes - usually when he's not having a good week:lol:

As you know, I have opened a poll on this issue. People didn't want to change.
Marco started managing last year, and is doing a pretty good job.
If you would like to manage a few tourneys, I suggest you should be in contact with Marco and propose your help.

Maybe we could have two members managing the same tournament? If they have different results they can do a recount.

i have one idea: maybe we should have more than one tournament per week and that everyone can't play every tournament. so, there would be entry list and maybe 16 players maximum could play one tournament(to give canche others there maybe should be qualies). and there would be different managers and rank would have a sence. what do you think about this idea?

I like your idea about qualifying etc.. there should be limit for players.. like 32 for each tournament and if there're more than 32 players.. 28 highest ranked would play directly in MD and there would be qualifying.. people would tip qualy matches and four best would reach MD :)

I mean we could do real main draws tournament.. like in GS there will be 128 players maximum, for other tours like real draws (64, 32) :) what about trying to do countries for Fed Cup or how is Fed Cup usually played in here? :)

Not enough players to do something like that in my opinion, we only had 34 players for Australian Open and 23 for Brisbane. There is no reason to limit the amount of players, Marco and ma re didn't seem to have any problems handling it.

i mean, i like so many players on every tournament, but where is there sence of rankings if everyone can play everwhere :shrug:
about draw idea(i think that tipping would lose sence if there would be draw system becasue i think that tipping is some kind of tennis tipping but to be different there is ranking system)
also, i don't like that there are same bounus points for challengers and tier I tournaments(i think there should be different bounus points)
also, it would be better if there would be ranking and race(i don't see sence of playing tipping last year if that's won't be counted)
and doubles also should be played, it's more fun if there are doubles

p.s. why we didn't have 2008. awards(like in every other game)?
i think it's not too late for this ;)

Even so I called it an end with tipping, I really have to say that Marco-Alize did a good job even though the update of the race always wasn't that quick and the real ranking wasn't updated at all. All in all, I really cannot complain about his management style. Good luck to all of you and I really like the idea concerning the awards.

no draws, that's for sure, maybe it's really not worthy to limit players if there were only 30 for AO, that's really just a few :sad: I agree about awards and ranking = entry and race different rankings :)

so, there are 2 things more
what do you think about: 12 players as a maximum for tier III and tier IV tournaemnts, 16 players for tier I and II tournaemnts (and for big tournaemnts like toronto, amelia island 24 players), for indian wells, miami 32 players, and for grand slams unlimited + qualies and WCs(for other tournaments which not are grand slams).
and different bounus points(for bigger tournaments more points)

I guess we could switch between managers every couple of tournaments. For example, Marco has managed 3 tourneys this year, so why not let someone manage the next three. After that another manager would run the next 3 and so on.

I think it's realy nice to see that you are guys who want to contribute and who care.
To be fair, as Marco is managing, your suggestions should be agreed upon by him.
Don't forget that the charm ot this game, in contrast to other games in this site, is it's simplicity.
Any suggestion that would complicate it would IMO hurt the game.

Yes, it would be nice if DCS would get some award for 2008 ( no idea what)
