Win a slam and never win one again, but everyone will remember cos it was just the greates two weeks they ever played.

If anyone why not her? She's the only one in ranked inside the top 10, not named Williams to have had a win against a Belgian player this year.

But not the one in her side of the draw. Kim owns her.

If it's ever to happen...now is the time. Dementieva or Mauresmo could grab their major before it's too late.

Maybe I'm just implying it won't be an unexpected winner. Wouldn't mind it as you'll easily understand ;)

majoli won a tier 2 on clay in 97. it was not that she came from nowhere. she only went nowhere afterwards :eek:

Yes but Dementieva has won a tier 2 clay title this year, but I would not pick her to win a slam.

2000 -- dnp
2001 -- qf lost to Capriati
2002 -- semis lost to V.Williams

Hey! This is her year. She's gone one round better each year she's played. :)
