I’m soooo happy. As much as I wanted her to win this, I admit that I doubted her. What a win for her, surely one of her best matches since USO win. Soooo proud of Emma today, both her ballstriking and mentality to fight. When she’s in this kind of form, she’s so interesting to watch, much more than some so-called top players for me. Can’t wait for her next match against either Iga or Bianca.

Only caught the third, but credit to Emma for out-gutting Bia - really didn't look likely early in the third when it seemed Haddad Maia had all the momentum and Raducanu looked tired. BHM has built her success in the past few seasons by being able to pull out these tough 3-setters, so it was definitely a bit of a statement from Emma to be able to raise her aggression again late in the third.

A very fun match. Haddad fought well as usual and saved few MPs, but that high % safe bashing was just not working at the end. Emma simply guides the ball and uses the court better when she plays at this level.

Great win for Emma.

Superb play in the first set, and found a way to mix it up / be more aggressive in the third set, whilst also matching the dogged Haddad Maia for resilience and will to win.

Also her highest win, in terms of ranking, since beating Bencic at the USO in 2021.

This was suprisingly good tennis from Raducanu in all regards who scores a big win! Emma rarely beats players who are ranked in top 30 and here Emma beats world #13. Also it means that Emma won three matches in a row, when was the last time it happened? US Open '21?

Yes. Last time uso 21 and her first time was in her first ever slam at Wimbledon
