That pathetic, gutless, lame performance by Kvitova was the last straw for me re the WTA tour. I have been watching tennis all of my life - great players like Evett, Navratilova, Graf, Seles, Hingis, Henin, Clijsters, etc. But, over the last year, this new generation has driven me to distraction. They have got to be the worst generation of players of all time. Total garbage. Until something better than this comes along, I shall not be watching again. The WTA has a lot of work to do to gets its tour back on track
I would just like to congratulate Serena early on winning her fifth Wimbledon singles title. Given the low quality of the opposition, I can say that with absolute certainty. Where would the WTA be without her - in a church praying (hard). She may be past her best, but she keeps going and keeps trying - and good for her, it's got her another Wimbledon title.
