Speed is probably similar to US Open (i assume it is a little bit slower) and bounce is clearly much higher.
But weather is important too.

Balls are normal so that's good :)
It will also matter if Iga plays in day or night conditions during the first week.

One thing I pray for is NO RAIN and NO INDOORS. Indoor conditions is when Iga is the most vulnerable. Last year she lost to Collins under the roof, same vs Pegula in Sydney. The rest - she will handle just fine IMO.
Last year you said Iga lost because she was exhausted from the three-hour battle against Kanepi in the heat the day before. I'm fairly sure the indoor conditions at AO had little to do with Iga's loss against Collins. Same when she lost to Jessie at UC.

This. Iga's serve was bleh but Maddie wasn't playing good either, just her usual baseball game. Both didn't really try 100% and it's not surprising in yesterday's weather conditions. I mean girls playing qualies were cooked by the end of their matches so why would someone do this to themselves at practice:dunno:. As for practice with Leylah, I haven't seen anything posted by people who were watching them, indicating she did badly and if she did ppl on tennis twitter would deffinitely drag her for this 😅. And coach was talking to her about some technical stuff. Clearly they are adjusting things and it was only her 2nd day in Melbourne.
I think the first day or two at the start of the week Iga was taking it easy and only gradually started practicing. By the end of the week she's likely back to full strength. There's also a very good chance that she will use several courts for practice during any given day.

Oooh...
=========
Can I expect Iga's performance in the summer WTA tournament in Warsaw?
- Iga wants to play in Warsaw, if it fits well in her starting plan. That is why, among other things, we intend to change the surface on Legia's courts - from clay to concrete. At the end of the month I have a scheduled meeting with the president of the tennis section of Legia. We want this work to start in March.

Fingers crossed that Warsaw turns into HC this year already.

I’m just watching Rafa’s AO press conference and he said the court was more or less similar to last year, but the balls were of worse quality.
Back in December I linked a tweet about how the AO Dunlop balls seem faster than last season (general tennis thread). Looks like Nadal has been feeling that in practice.
