Let's say your favorite player has that contagious disease monkeypox. She's trying to pretend that she doesn't but you can tell by her symptoms that she does. This player knows that you are a very big fan of hers and knows that a dinner invite from her is something you would absolutely love. If you refuse such an offer from her, she will no doubt think it's pretty strange. This is the only chance you will ever get so would you go to dinner with her in spite of her condition or would you refuse? If you refuse, what would be your excuse considering your favorite player KNOWS ahead of time that you'd jump at this chance?

Pass up the chance to have dinner with Amelie AND get out of work for a week or more?

Not on your life!

besides, telling people I had Monkeypox would be almost as fun as telling them I'd been injured in a monkey knife fight when I had stitches
