I agree. The australian just wasn't the same without her. This injury is going to keep her out a while. I'm just hoping she makes one more good run and wins another GS. I'm worried she's going to retire, since she's often said, I think, that she doesn't plan to be playing tennis forever.

Too bad for you. Lindsays gonna be out for quite some time. I can help thinking that Linds could have played the AO. I really think that the #1 position didn't sit too well with her and by abandoning the AO she was sure to lose it. Also the fact that clay season is rolling around didn't motivate her to play one bit. Given all of the controversy and required explaining you have to do while seated in the top spot (w/o a GS title), I can't say I blame her. Anyway, Linds, I hope you make a full recovery. In the mean time, spend some quality time with your buddy CoriMori.
Thank you, Martina Hingisova. We TOPS have been pretty down lately because of this.
Bright Red, it's very obvious you have never played tennis with a bone bruise. She was in a GREAT deal of pain and could barely walk... she didn't abandon the AO, she was forced out! Pull your head out!
Actually I have had a bone bruise, and I have played tennis with it. So maybe I'm not the one who should be doing the pulling.
***Bright Red falls to the floor on his back and takes off his boots to expose his socks that are so stale they could stand up by themselves, raises his feet in the air and politely asks cmglenn to "Talk to the foot"***
So Bright Red as a very very recent addition to the board, how would you know who, Quote" In the mean time, spend some quality time with your buddy CoriMori." ,This person is?..I know you read the board for months before joining..silly me
Adrian I really don't like being questioned and second-guessed, and I have no obligation to answer you. What's it to you how long I've been on this board either actively or passively. I don't come to this board to expose my personal business or get interrogated. I come to express my opinion of the tennis players. That's it.
To answer your question, I'm assuming that you think I'm telling the poster Martina Hingisova to spend time with another poster by the name of CoriMori. That's not the case. I was telling Lindsay Davenport to spend time with Corina Morariu, her friend.
Gee thanks for the compliment Adrian. Now try to follow my lead and reserve your comments and opinions about the tennis players, and quit trying to pick personal fights with us posters. I don't know you and you don't know me, and I would imagine that the lack of a desire for us to get to know each other better is mutual.
