Envy.nu seems to be slower and tends to be down a lot...Anyone have any recomendations on a new webhost? Anyone know of one that doesn't have pop ups? Thanks!!

well, before making any recommendation I need to know what you need.

How much space?
Do you need front page extensions?
How much bandwith?
Do you need PHP or ASP?
Do you want a free host or are you willing to pay?

I would like 15 to 20 plus mb ...
I don't need front page extensions, PHP nor ASP...

I'm not quite sure about the bandwith..

And free hosting is what I'm looking for (perhaps i'm asking too much? lol)

well, if you are looking for free hosting, you can try tripod at www.tripod.com, they's give you 20 mb and 1 mb of data transfer a month.

That could be good for around 150 hits a day, if you have more you will need more bandwith.

fortunecity used to offer 50 mb, I don't know if they still do, and it didn't have bandwith problems, however, there are problems to access the administrative tools but you can still publish using ftp.

you won't get much more in any free host, they all seem to be cutting down what they offer.
