I saw her on tv the other night -- the tennis channel -- she was the umpire at an exhibition last week hosted by Billie Jean and Elton John with Agassi and Chanda and McEnroe. They interviewed her for a few seconds, she said she was sorry she couldn't play, looking forward to getting back. Also said how she liked McEnroe and you can't let him bother you. She seemed relaxed and happy.

I also miss Monica as well! But I have a bad feeling that she knows she's missed out on a lot with the time she's taken off from tour and that it'll be really, really difficult for her to catch up to the top and snatch one more Slam (preferably Wimbledon) before she retires. So I think Monica will announce her retirement by the end of this year or early next year :sad:

But anyway, I hope she does come back so we can see her name ingrained within the top five :yeah:
